This was my first time at this Vet and I dealt with Nurse Julie and Dr Lowenthal. They were very polite people and checked my Daughter Rhea (Pitbull) for teeth issues and scratchy skin. They were very knowledgeable and clearly informed me what was wrong with my dog and what were the treatment options. I was prescribed medication and my dog is now starting to do better. Will take Rhea back here

After moving from California to Maryland and looking into several other local clinics, Woodley Gardens is definitely at the forefront of animal care. The staff are polite and knowledgeable and are great about scheduling you in a last minute pinch and ACTUALLY calling you back if there’s an opening or an earlier time slot which is something of a rarity in this day and age. They’re also open on Saturdays which as a service industry worker with a chaotic schedule can sometimes be the only time I have to fit in an appointment. Outside of that their app makes scheduling an absolute breeze compared to the other clinics and animal hospitals I’ve tried in the greater Rockville area. The doctors and nurses are extremely well-versed in pet care and don’t try to disregard your experience with your per’s health which has truly been something that’s been hard to find. Truthfully we love Woodley Gardens so much I’ve recommended them to several friends and will continue to do so! Pro tip: Carmen’s is right next door and they have a nice little selection of treats for your pup post-visit

My very sweet, shy and fearful large rescue dog was seen recently at Woodley Gardens. From the first interaction over the phone to our actual appointment, everyone I talked to was really kind, caring and attentive to detail. The front desk person was so kind as my dog was shaking in fear to even come inside as she's afraid of people. :( Adriana the vet tech and Dr. Rapp took the time to answer my many questions and help get my fearful dog more at ease so that she got the care she needed. I am really happy to have found a great place for my sweet girl's care. I would definitely recommend this vet center to others!

Terrible customer service. We arrived 8 minutes late to appointment and the vet said they would not see us because they were "too busy". This was a scheduled 30 min appointment that would take 15 min based on a similar appointment before. I thought that time was allotted to us because we made an appointment and most places have grace periods of 10 min or so. Our cat seems to have an infected toe and seems that Dr. Nichols doesn't care. Couldn't even be bothered to show and had her front desk person let us know (after they showed us to the room) that she was too busy to see us. Don't overbook yourself. For the price this place charges, they should be more customer service oriented. In past appointments with them, we have arrived early or on time and they have made us wait long times before the vet arrived to the room. Now they couldn't wait for us 8 min. They also didnt seem to care that we had a 2 month old baby with us and it's not like its easy to reschedule. Won't be returning.
