Bluepearl Pet Hospital

Very responsive to your questions

As painful as writing this is I had to make it a point to thank Dr. Speas and her team for the wonderful care they gave our girl over the past 8 months. Luna had dealt with 2 different cancers and we always felt so supported despite a very stressful journey. It is so obvious they truly care for not only their furry patients, but also their families. Dr. Speas even personally called to check in on us when she heard the news and that meant the world. If you are in need of oncology care for your pet, you will be in the best hands at Blue Pearl. Thank you for everything!

Truly the BEST for Specialty Pet Health Services!! Dr. Speas and her team, Shae and Aubrey, along with Melissa, and RJ and everyone else at Blue Pearl are the reason our puppy Elvis is still alive an in remission 2-years after his cancer diagnosis at 1 year of age!!! Needless to say, the other providers are work along side of Dr. Speas including the Radiologists and Internal Medicine providers go above a beyond to ensure that your pet receives the best possible care. Don’t trust your pet’s unique health requirements to any other vet. You will not be sorry and neither will your furry family member!

I am writing this review to formally document a profoundly dangerous and reckless triage experience I just encountered over the phone with an on-duty technician at this facility. My dog consumed seasoned chicken and immediately began violently vomiting, followed by acute neurological distress, including noticeable head tremors/shaking, jerky physical movements, and a severely dazed, lethargic state. When I called this emergency facility seeking immediate triage guidance and medical assistance, the technician I spoke with was completely dismissive, unpolished, and lazy. The moment I mentioned that the seasoning may have included black pepper—while explicitly stating I was highly uncertain about what other toxic hidden ingredients, like garlic or onion powders, were in the food—she completely shut down the conversation. She proudly bragged about her '9 years of experience' as a technician to casually breeze past my dog's active, alarming neurological symptoms, flippantly telling me she 'wasn't concerned' and that I should just let him sleep.Any competent medical professional knows that acute head tremors and dazed neurological tracking are critical red flags that require immediate physical triage, not casual dismissal by a phone operator. For a technician to actively discourage an anxious pet owner from bringing an unstable animal into an emergency room is a massive clinical liability and a complete failure of basic patient care.I refused to let her uneducated, careless attitude compromise my dog's safety, hung up her line, and took my animal to an actual professional facility that treats toxicities with the urgency they deserve. Hospital management needs to audit the phone logs from this afternoon immediately, identify this specific individual, and pull her off the triage lines before her reckless medical advice costs someone their pet's life.

UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO TELL YOU TO PUT YOUR DOG DOWN SO THAT THEY COULD MAKE $$$$, DO NOT GO HERE! They legit had my friend MAKE an appointment for the vet to put their dog to death just so they could make money. Disgusting. Basically heartless people who have 0 clue what they are doing. This pet care "hospital" is a morgue; they are legit, just taking as much money from upset people during the most distraught moments of their life.
